Popular Tamil actor Vadivel Balaji, who rose to fame with Vijay TV’s ‘Kalaka Povadhu Yaaru’, passed away due to heart attack at the government hospital in Chennai on September 10, 2020. He was 45. The actor was known for his mimicry and imitating the body language of famous comedian Vadivelu. As per the reports in the Times of India, Balaji is survived by his wife and a son and a daughter. Balaji was apparently paralysed following the heart attack and was being treated for the past 15 days. Reportedly, the actor was shifted to a couple of other hospitals as the family was unable to pay the expenses. Later, he was admitted to a government hospital where he breathed his last. Vadivel Balaji has acted in films like ‘Pandhayam’, ‘Sutta Pazham Sudatha Pazham’, ‘Kadhal Panchayathu’, ‘Karpanai’ and ‘Yaaruda Mahesh.’ He was shooting for ‘Mr & Mrs Chinnathirai 2’ and was eliminated from the show. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted that the actor had suffered a heart attack two weeks ago.
